At Weir’s, we offer professional delivery services throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Our delivery service is company owned, not outsourced, so every delivery person is a Weir’s employee. Why is this important? It means that we have a vested interest in making absolutely certain your new purchase arrives in excellent condition.
Our Delivery Process
Prior to delivery, we remove each item from its factory packing for inspection and assembly. Once ready, your purchase is carefully padded, loaded into our delivery truck and properly secured to minimize the risk of any damage.
Mattress Deliveries
Customers who purchase a mattress or mattress and box spring set for $999 or more before taxes, enjoy COMPLEMENTARY delivery within our standard delivery areas and REDUCED delivery to select areas outside of our standard delivery areas. Excludes as-is, sanitized, discontinued and Outlet bedding.
White Glove Basic Delivery
We are committed to providing excellent service to all our customers. Our White Glove Basic Delivery provides the services below for a price of $99 to our standard delivery areas.
- Pre-inspection and delivery by Weir’s employees (mattresses not included)
- Scheduled 2 days in advance with 2-hour delivery time frame
- Delivery day call ahead if asked (example: 45 minutes prior)
- Like item and like size, item-for-item set-up (we will move a comparable sized item to/from the same location); except rugs and hanging items. See exceptions in "Preparing for Delivery" section below.
- Removal of old mattress with delivery of new mattress (PM deliveries only) if requested
- 1 Year Product Warranty
- In-Home Service for 60 days
- 1st & 2nd story stair delivery ($25 for each additional story)
White Glove Premium Delivery
Our White Glove Premium delivery includes all of the White Glove Basic Delivery services, plus the additional services stated below for a price of $149 to our standard delivery areas.
- Preferred AM/PM Delivery time requests in our standard delivery areas
- Complimentary rotation of all mattresses at time of delivery
- In-Home Service for 1 year
Days & Times
- We offer standard delivery service throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Standard deliveries are made Tuesday through Saturday.
- Deliveries to select areas outside of our standard delivery areas are made only on select days for an additional charge, depending upon the distance from the Weir’s store or distribution center.
- All items that have been marked down must be picked up or delivered with 10 days of purchase.
- Request for a specific AM or PM delivery can be accommodated with an upgrade to the White Glove Premium delivery.
- Cancelled/rescheduled deliveries communicated after 12 noon the day before scheduled delivery will be subject to a fee equal to the standard delivery charge for your location (minimum $99).
Deliveries above the Third Floor
If an elevator is not available, and delivery must be made above the third floor, an additional fee of $25 per floor will be collected prior to delivery.
Preparing for Delivery
Please help us ensure a smooth delivery by doing the following:
- At the time of purchase, please confirm that we have the correct delivery address, phone numbers and any special instructions. We will attempt to contact you two days prior to our selected delivery date. Our delivery teams are not equipped to process credit cards, so please clear any unpaid balances with your sales associate prior to your delivery day.
- On the delivery date, clear a path by removing any small items that may obstruct the carriage of your new purchase. Our delivery team will gladly move item-for-item pieces. For example, if we deliver a new mattress set, we will move the old set to your garage or another room. Please remove all linens from your old set and prepare the area.
- If the delivery involves electronic or audio equipment, our team can place unplugged electronics or home theater equipment into a new cabinet, but we will not attempt to rewire your electronics. Our delivery team will ask you to sign a waiver/release form prior to handling your electronics.
- Note that if the delivery team is concerned about moving fragile, antique, or heavy items, the moving of these items may be declined. If the delivery team feels they can move these types of items, a waiver of liability will be required.
- We have a 2-person delivery team so a maximum weight of 200 pounds is allowed.
Returning Delivered Items
- If returns of delivered items are needed, a return pick-up fee will be applied
