The Weir’s 2022 Grand Re-Opening Sweepstakes will be referred to as the “Sweepstakes”.
ELIGIBILITY: To enter the Sweepstakes, you must be a legal residents of the United States living within a 250 mile radius of any of our 4 store locations in Dallas, TX, Plano, TX, Farmers Branch, TX or Southlake, TX, and you must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Limit one entry per household, per day. Employees of Weir’s Furniture Village, Inc., it’s Board of Directors, Shareholders, Family members and immediate family of such persons (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent or “step” of each), and persons living in the same household of each, whether related or not, are prohibited from entering the Sweepstakes.
AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes Participant’s full and unconditional agreement to (i) the official rules, (ii) all eligibility requirements, and (iii) the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters related to this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
TIMING: The entry period begins on Wednesday, March 30 and ends on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 11:59 pm CST. Entry periods will vary by prize. See “Prizes” section below. Random winners will be selected as follows:
HOW TO ENTER: There are 2 ways to enter during the entry period:
Online: The online Sweepstakes entry form may be found on the Weir’s website at https://weirsfurniture.com/knoxgrandreopeningsweepstakes where a participant may complete the online form and submit their entry. Participants must provide their full name, address, zip code, phone number and valid email address to enter the promotion. Each participant will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for a completed and correctly submitted online entry each day.
Mail-in: To enter the Sweepstakes without completing the online entry form, type or clearly hand-print the words “2022 Grand Re-Opening SWEEPSTAKES”, your full name, complete mailing address, date of birth, daytime phone number, and valid email address on a plain 3”x5” piece of paper, place in a stamped envelope and mail to: Weir’s 2022 Grand Re-Opening Sweepstakes Entry, Attention: Marketing Department, 4800 Spring Valley Road, Farmers Branch, TX 75244. Participant will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for a completed and valid mail-in entry received. Limit of one entry per mailing envelope. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, incomplete, invalid, mutilated, or postage due mail – these types of entries will be disqualified.
LIMIT: One (1) entry per household, per day, during the entry period, regardless of the method of entry, and regardless of the number of email addresses.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Sponsor will randomly select the potential winner from all eligible entries received during the entry period starting Thursday, March 31, 2022. Each Potential Winner will be notified by email and/or telephone, as determined by Sponsor. Messages may not be left. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received by a Potential Winner for any reason.
If, despite reasonable efforts, a Potential Winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours of the first notification attempt, such Potential Winner may, in Sponsor's sole discretion, forfeit his or her prize and an alternate Potential Winner may be selected. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will attempt to contact up to three (3) Potential Winners of a prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed.
If any Potential Winner (i) is found to be ineligible; (ii) if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules; or (iii) declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such Potential Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Potential Winner may be selected. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify anyone not fully complying with the Official Rules. Potential Winner must verify address, return a completed IRS Form W9, and provide his or her Social Security Number in accordance with Internal Revenue Service regulations, within two (2) business days. Failure of any Potential Winner to return needed documentation within the specified time period may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate Potential Winner from the remaining eligible entries for that prize. A prize will not be awarded until all such properly executed forms are returned. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules, the Potential Winners will be declared the official prize winner.

THE ODDS OF WINNING A PRIZE DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED DURING THE ENTRY PERIOD.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Each Participant may enter only one (1) time per day during the Entry Period, regardless of method of entry and regardless of the number of email addresses. Participants who do not provide a valid email address will not be entered into the Promotion. Limit of one entry per household per day. Any attempt by any Participant to obtain more than one (1) entry per day by using multiple/different addresses, identities, or any other methods will void that Participant's entries and that Participant may be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify Participants who violate these Official Rules or interfere with this Promotion in any manner. All entries become the property of Weir’s Furniture and/or Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any automated entry software is prohibited. Electronically reproduced, illegible, incomplete or inaccurate entries are void. In case of a dispute as to the owner of an online entry, online entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address from which the entry is made. The authorized account holder is deemed as the natural person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Weir’s Furniture Village, all of their Officers, Directors, Shareholders, Employees, and Agents (the "Released Parties") are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human or printing error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online registration form, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to Participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Promotion, or for late, lost, stolen, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, in the Sponsor’s opinion there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this Promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right to void any entries at issue and/or to suspend, modify or cancel or terminate this Promotion, in whole or in part, at any time without notice and award the prizes in a random drawing from among all non-suspect eligible entries received as of the termination date. Caution: Any attempt by a Participant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Weir’s Furniture Village reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By accepting a Prize, the Prize Winner consents to the use of his/her name, city/state of residence, photograph, visual and/or audio likeness for advertising or promotional purposes by Weir’s Furniture Village, and its designees, including but not limited to the posting of Prize Winner's name on the Sponsor's website(s), in a Winners List or other online announcements, without additional compensation, permission or notification. Participants agree to release indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participating in this Promotion or any Promotion-related activity or travel, or from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of any Prize awarded.
GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of Participants or Weir’s Furniture Village in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by the laws of the state of Texas, without giving any effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
SEVERABILITY: If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
